Hi, I am in the middle of a custody dispute.We already done mediation 2 years ago and the Judge even stated he wasn't going to send us back. We are set up for a CMC hearing in a few months then we would choose a trial date.
Lately my son has witnessed a lot of abuse etc by his mothers boyfriend. She claims my son hates coming with me. He is only 3 years old. He actually loves coming with me, and has told me about his mothers abuse. The Judge gave me the go ahead and pursue a private evaluation. I am not going to spend 20K on a Custody Evaluation since we already did mediation... What I want is my son to talk to a professional and then subpoena the professional and testify about what my son states...
Please tell me what exactly and who exactly I am looking for. Am I requesting for the right thing here? Need help... just want my son to reveal the truth even though he is 3 yrs old. he talks alot..What is the procedure for this? His mother and I can go back and forth about what he says, but the truth is, I need a professional that can write a report and bring it to court...HELP!! Is there any programs out there that the court uses that aren't expensive since I volunteered to pay for this?
