My son has had a very bad rash for 4 weeks now, if not longer, he has seen the doctor and i have been told it is utacaria (nettle rash), he is currently on antihistmine medicine for this, however he has been taking this for 2 weeks and the rash is no clearer, it moves every day and at the moment it is always on his face, he is covered head to toe, its very hard at the moment as he is 5 years old and is back at school and i know the other children are asking and staring at him all the time as his face looks bad, we got a kitten about 8 weeks ago, the doctor did not think it was the cat that could be causing this as he is not snezing, but i have no other idea what could be doing this, its heart breaking and making my son (who is shy any way) not want to go to school.... please advise as to what i should do... could it be the cat??? i am really getting upset about this.
