Chicken Strips or No Chicken Strips

Never been on the track, this summer I signed up for the Penguin class in NH. I just got back my exhuast from jethot, satin ceramic coating, what you guys think?
 
Absolutely! I'm still trying to persuade my parents to let me get off the training wheels. One day. ONE DAY I too will be able to ride a BMX with only two wheels.
 
I was looking at ny bike wheel this very weekend on this subject. I have about a 1/2 inch of untouched rubber on the edges(chicken strips). Looking at my sons SR4 Monster he is like your tire Fonzz, all the way across! I started to just go get some sand paper and up grade my tires to his level.
Alias Jerry Seinfield thinking, Always wear a size 32 pants even if you have to change the sewed in size label of a 38 pair to a 32....rothfl.
 
Thanx Fonzz, I use to race BMX and motocross. I am excited to see how I do, looking to pick up a POS for the track maybe what ya think? R6 or a ZX-6R? Yea I am stoked about the exhuast, its a factory system that I cut the exhaust butterfly off and rewelded shut.
 
There are plenty of guys with chickenstrips that will blow by most like they are standing still, conversely there are guys without any that can barely ride the posted speed limits on a canyon road. They are just as much an indicator of how well one can't ride as how well others can........................................... so they don't matter (to me anyway).
