Hey guys, my sister is doing a critical research study for her A Level Media exam and was just wondering if any of you could quickly spare a few moments to answer some questions that will help her.

1. Why do you think Chick-Flicks appeal to women?

2. Would you say Chick-Flicks represent both genders in a positive and realistic manner?

3. Do you think Chick Flicks are good for women? Do they give women false ideas about relationships or are they just harmless fun?

2. Yes appeal to both genders then they will have more views

3. I think it does make women think they will have a wirl wind romance eg waiting for prince charming to sweep them of their feet

I'm a woman and they don't appeal to me at all, but perhaps I'm in the minority on here.

2. Would you say Chick-Flicks represent both genders in a positive and realistic manner?
No.

3. Do you think Chick Flicks are good for women? Do they give women false ideas about relationships or are they just harmless fun?

Good for women?

I guess they are harmless fun.
 
Chick flicks appeal to women as they are usually feel good films with happy endings

I do think chick flicks represent both sexes in a positive manner even when they are taking the mickey it is not done in a nasty way

I think they are good for women, we have stressful lives it's nice to watch something that is not taxing on the mind and makes you feel good now and again.

Because they give them an opportunity to socialise and bond with female frienRAB without having blokes around

Obviously no, they present both genders in a stereotypical way to make the story simpler and less realistic

3. Do you think Chick Flicks are good for women? Do they give women false ideas about relationships or are they just harmless fun?

Yes, they are good harmless fun and I'm sure most woman are aware that they are entertainment not realistic drama
