Chick flicks... Love 'em or hate 'em?

looooooove chick flicks ... i really do.. theres nothing better than a good chick flick movie and a bowl of popcorn
 
Love chick flicks! My favorite would probably have to be Sweet Home Alabama or Bridget Jones's Diary.
 
absolutely love em! All the rom coms.. Hugh Grant ones, 13 going on 30, Shes all that, Bridget Jones, Down with Love, Titanic...

I just never get the part on the phone...

I love chick flicks, especially teen movie ones. Down to You and Here on Earth are my favorites.

Is Gone With the Wind a chick flick? If so, it is really good. There are a lot of old movie chick flicks like My Best Girl. *sigh*
 
I try to pretend I don't like chick flicks but I can't help it. I'm just a big sappy girl when it comes down to the crux and that's all there is too it. As for my favourite one, I don't know. Probably A Walk to Remember. I cry every time I see it. :sigh:

So much fun to read what everybody thinks...
Sometimes it would be funny to see a totally opposite ending...
Bigamists would be so hilarious !! :D

I still think that casting does alot...
If there is already chemistry between the characters, it is so much more fun to watch the movie, even when it is a thriller...
Then you already get scared when 2 people are in the same room...

And Jaws always comes into the picture with that certain music, and so every genre has something...

Well...as for "chick-flicks", I'm not sure if I hate or love them. I guess it's something in between. If there's just a little bit original in it, I like them. I mean the story has to have at least something ...

If it's a really bad movie with a too predictable storyline and bad actors, I don't like them at all. (Yeah right, as if anybody would ever say "I love bad acting and boring movies" ;))
 
10 Things I Hate About You is technically a teen comedy....

i love it too. :) Very good, very funny movie.
 
I loved "When Harry Met Sally," but it kinda ends there. I can't stand chick flicks. :lol:
 
I always say I don't like them but...really I do. My favourite chick flick is probably 'The Truth About Cats and Dogs'. I somehow never get sick of watching it. Janeane Garafolo is very watchable and it's such an adorable movie.
