Oh, no question, Renee was great! I totally fell in love with her rendition of Funny Honey. But, Catherine's whole look and her singing/dancing just jumped out at me - she was incredible.

Renee was great but Catherine had the dark hair, the intense eyes, the better musical numbers, the fuller body (which is actually how the characters are supposed to be in relation to one another).

They were both awesome, of course, I love their last number together

I've always wanted Renee to do something musical since she sang in "Empire Records", guess this was my wish come true.

And just to echo the greatness of "All That Jazz"

I'm actaully a much bigger fan of Renee than Catherine. Renee is simply beautful and I love her singging vocie, I think it's sexy. And I love the plot of this movie, and I think the dialog is funny.

Right! The actual plot, dialogue, and whatnot, was rather dull. And IA, Catherine's musical performances (especially All That Jazz) blew everything else away. She so deserved that Oscar. I enjoyed Richard Gere as well, but that might have more to do with the crush I always seem to develop when I see him in a film

OMG its sooo funny that you guys would bump this up cause for some odd reason I've had the soundtrack stuck in my head all day

Yeah, John C. deserves some love. He was very good. [Even though he did get the Golden Globe/Oscar nominations, it seemed that Renee, Catherine, Richard (and even Queen Latifah) garnered most of the media attention.] I always feel for Amos after the trial, when he's waiting for Roxie and she couldn't care less.

I have to agree about the boring commentary. I was expecting something really funny or at least interesting... NOT. Oh well, at least the director was a good sport and made a commentary anyway, not that it was useful but hey.

That's the same as me

I like the musical numbers and thankfully there seems to be more of them than of dialogue and stuff. The dialogue is just like the bits between numbers

I definitely prefer Catherine's, then Renee's and the rest.

Love Chicago. I just watched it again on a bus ride the other day and realized how great the film is.

I'm more a fan of the musical numbers (Catherine's and Richard's especially) than the actual movie - if that makes sense

I was watching the DVD extras last night, the documentary is great!!!

And one of the commentaries was interesting but the other one was a bit silly; the person was just saying what you could see happening on screen, no deep thoughts or anything

Chicago, I saw it twice at the cinema and can't wait to get the DVD!

The first time I saw it, I walked out of the cinema and straight into Borders and got the CD
