Chicago 10

When I went to see Persepolis, I saw a trailer that caught my eye for this movie:

Apparently it was the opening night film at Sundance this year. This is a very interesting idea for a documentary, and the animation has a sort of Waking Life-esque quirky charm to it. Not the type of animated feature generally released, but I'm all for variety, and if a film like this can get animation to be taken seriously, then I'll be very impressed.

That might turn out to be a really good movie, but that animation looks awful... Like some video game cutscene. The characters are way too stiff. I don't really see the point in doing it as animation, either. I mean, obviously I love animation, but it doesn't seem to have much place in a documentary film like this.

Is the "Chicago 10" animation done by the animators who do the TV commercials for Charles Schwab ("Talk to Chuck")?
