I have a 92 Chevy S10 with the 2.5L 4banger. Everything runs very well since rebuilding the engine but I have a major electrical problem. 1. It drains the battery in 4hours or so. 2. It reads no amp on the dashboard amp guage. 3. The speedometer rides on 5mph until I rev the engine and when I rev the engine it goes to 35mph or so... 4. When I tap the brakes the gas guage rises strait to full then release the brake and instantly goes back to 5/8 tank where I assume is the correct level of the gas...
I have the dash totally out of her and cannot find anywhere that the wiring harness has been pinched or burned. I had the dash out when I changed the heater core, and the trouble seemed to start right after doing so... But I cannot for the life of me figure this out!
