I have a 2006 Chevy Malibu and I am looking to get an AUX line in the car. However my stereo's model does not work with the regular PIE adapters. However I have found several units on ebay which have the AUX line built right into the front. This however is where the problem occurs. They aren't my current stereo. They are for the 2006 Malibu, but there are 2 different chassy models, a Z and a W. I have the Z chassy. After consulting with the local GM dealer, they say that while it will physically fit, they can't guarantee the information panel will work. So this brings me to my question:
Does anyone know if a 2006 Chevy Malibu W chassy stereo will work in a Z chassy?
