...loud? any car buffs? my 2nd car is a lumina, 97, it has 130k on it, i ran over a bump in the road or something minor, and the rear end made a loud noise? yikes! now, every time i go over a bump it makes this loud THUD! my guess is the shocks? any ideas? opinions on estimated cost of repair for shocks job or struts etc.... i eliminated the axle as a problem or wheel areas as when the car is rolling there is no indication or noise, the loud thud only occurs when i roll over speed bumps etc.. the noise is a thud type noise... thanks
