third? I replaced the flexplate. Dropped the tranny, put it back in, And it ran fine for 2 weeks, then, I noticed antifreeze smell when the heater was turned on, eventually blowing the heater core. Antifreeze all over on the passenger side. But right before it blew, the transmission was not engaging into third gear. Could this have something to do with the coolant not getting to the transmission? The 4.3L automatic has coolant lines running into the tranny. Maybe if I fix the heater core, it will get the coolant to the tranny?, or do I need a new tranny? I also put some tranny stop leak in the coolant before all of this happened. I had a small coolant leak coming from one of the coolant lines coming out of the engine. What ya think?
