Chevy Aveo owners I have a question?

Got a quick question for you. I called up Advance Auto for a price on a new transmission filter, but found out they didn't have a listing for it. So I'm wondering, is it just a dump and fill type of change with no regard to a new transmission filter, or something I overlooked? In the owners manual it also said to use type T-IV tranny fluid, what's the equivalent to this instead of having to buy the marked up GM stuff? Any help is appreciated.

Is it a manual trans if yes the you cant change filter trans has to be torn down if auto then it should have filter. if manual use synchro mesh man trans fluid if auto use any kind of ATF thas says it meets gm standards
