I have a chevy 350 small block it was ticking so i pulled the vale cover off and tightend the rocker arms put back together fired the engine ran for 5 second then locked up now it will not crank at all.
How much did you tightoned the lifter?You could have bent the pushrod.You can try to put A socket on the crank & see if it will turn back.If it does then turn it forward again & see if it stops.If it does Then back it off Again and then take off the rocker you tightoned and see if you can get the pushrod out to see if its bent.If its bent then replace it with A new one.
