Chevrolet truck not running correctly!?

ok.well i have a 1998 Chevrolet Cheyenne k1500 4x4 and sometimes not all the time but sometimes when i engage from reverse to drive or take off at a stop Sign slowly the truck dies out but it starts right back up. any ideas what the problem might be?
ty for you're help i do beleave that it might be the ingectors im not sure but im gona run some stp cleaner through it if not ill give it a tune up
 
the egr valve or the pvc valve is sticking. both of them are part of the pollution control.
 
That sounds to me like you have clogged fuel injectors. Try running some fuel system/injector cleaner(wynns makes a good one). If that doesn't work, then it could be a bad spark plug or plug wires. Injectors are expensive, but you can pick up plugs and wires for cheap
