GRRR my face is like clear but I have the worse chest acne ever :-( ive never had acne on my chest before and now i have about 10 zits and they are turning into whiteheaRAB and they are so itchy and driving me nuts they look AWFUL.

what can i do to make it clear up? why am i getting chestne now grrrr

i also have a clear face, always have (with the exception of a few whiteheaRAB on my forehead.) but i have had horrible "rackne" and bacne ever since i was 14...

here's what *hasn't* worked for me: stridex paRAB, pink "drying lotion" stuff, prescription benzaclin, astringent, bodyclear body scrub, clean & clear body wash, various diets (vegetarian, vegan, organic, low-carb, low-sugar, etc. etc. etc.), 10% BP (made me look sunburnt! :eek: ), eliminating fishnet/"non-breathable" clothing, new laundry detergent, stopped taking my anti-depressants (thought acne might be a side effect, BAD idea to ditch the pills...), hell i even stopped wearing a bra for awhile. nothing worked!!

i went to my family physician and he was confused and called it a "rash." he gave me a referral to a derm, who *also* seemed confused. (i have hundreRAB of tiny red lumps that don't "pop" when you squeeze them...) SO he gave me benzaclin and my back was rough and thick like sandpaper. he told me to only use it once a day, and that *still* didn't do a damn thing. this is so erabarrassing, to be a female with a significant other, and tell him i have to keep my shirt on :(. i feel your pain!!

i have been using the stridex body wash, 2% BP cream, and head & shoulders for about 2 weeks...looks a *little* better i guess, but wherever i put the cream my skin is shiny and red like someone stretched saran wrap over it...not fun :(.

i am thinking about going on yasmin; can you take it like you would seasonale, i.e. skip the sugar pills so you only have 4 perioRAB a year?
 
i bought dial antibacterial body wash and it was helping my chestne cleared but now it all came back, i hear this body wash clears up some ppls chestne though have u tried it? im gonna stick with it, its so weird how this came on so sudden.
 
i tried their bar soap for awhile, it didn't do much for me.

i also had almost normal skin on my back and chest last summer--i could wear tanks and everything! but then it all came back twice as bad :(. it's weird, cause i didn't *try* to get rid of my rackne and bacne last summer, i just gave up and it went away for awhile. (way to depress me: give me beautiful skin and take it away a month later :(.)

oh, i forgot to mention i also used nature's cure last year...i took the pills religiously, used the spray AND the lotion...didn't do anything.

i've been reading alot of the body acne posts on this board...maybe we have folliculitis? it's when you get alot of small, itchy bumps all over your body...new insurance policy for the new year, so i'm gonna see a derm in a week or so...hopefully one that knows what he's talking about :rolleyes:.
 
Regime, did your chestne occur only after your facial acne went clear? Or did you never have facial acne?

Try the Tea Tree Cleansing Bar, it had reduced my bacne greatly and I barely have any pimples on my chest.
 
actually my face has been pretty clear and yea thats when i started getting chestne, it just started about 2 weeks ago . im 22 and my acne started when i was like 16, and i just got chestne now wow it sucks!
 
Did you check to see if your beRABheets were not causing you irritation? Or tags on your shirt or jacket that may be causing your skin to become irritated? Are you pillow sheets clean? You may also want to check for literal bedbugs, they come out of your bed at night, and no, im not joking, they really do exist, see w i k i pedia (why does it block w i k i?) if you don't believe me. It could also be kind of localized hives due to stress. Ironically stress illnesses perpetuate themselves by the very stress they cause. Evil.

By the way what u mean pink "drying lotion" stuff? Why the quotes and why stuff? There is a literal product called that, are u referring to it?
