Hey guys

So finally(after like 1 week of not being able to) i've been able to sleep after having woken up one day with chest pain. that felt like a sprain. Yesterday i slept 8 hours. i've had to set up my pillow inclined like 15 - 25 degrees though.

THe thing is during the day if i sit down and do something like reading, working on computer..etc it doesn't hurt pretty much nothing. NO SWELLING, NO DISCOLORATION.

But it hurts(STERNUM)if i do a sudden move or cough or push . Sometimes if i walk , if i bob too much then it hurts a sudden sharp pain in the center.

But i tried alittle jogging yesterday and today and it didn't hurt. Maybe i shouldn't try jogging but i did because i really don't want to think about becoming disabled. although i do think about it.

But anyways, i can have pain with any sudden move or fast move(which i am trying not to do but the other day i just opened the door slowly and it hurt) or something where i put too much force. But if i'm pretty much at rest or being slow, then i have no pain.

When i read stuff about PUlled muscles or fractures of sternum, it says it bruised or swollen..and tender or whatever. My chest has no visible signs of anything.

Anyways, what kind of doctor should i visit? I already went to a MD and it didn't seem like she couldn't help me much.

oh i wanted to add. the midline of the chest(sternum area) also hurts sometimes when i laugh or cough
