Cheryl Cole Bond Girl Possibility

What does everyone think about this?

I know there is huge support for Cheryl Cole at the moment (I think everybody loves her) I am in the minority in not being a huge fan myself.

But what does everyone think about her branching out into acting now too?

Cheryl Cole is a pretty woman but I am not sure she is bond girl material?

*shudder*

She's very nice to look at, but i really don't want to see her acting and potentially ruining a Bond film in the process. Stick to singing.

I think she'd have to have even more elecution lessons before they'd accept her. I'm not sure they'd like her 3/4 Geordie accent. I say 3/4 because she speaks too proper compared to the way we speak around here.

Maybe before the new Bond era, when Bond girls were two a penny and only had to look simpering or pretty, but not now, not a cat in hells chance.

Thank God.

You are not alone in the minority. She is talent free....completely and utterly.

This suggestion will go down as the most unpopular suggestion since Robbie Williams was suggested to replace Peirce Brosnan.

I was being a tad facetious...

That said, isn't there a Bond Girl hierarchy, or now that the DC era is here have they totally disposed of that along with all the other fun elements?

1) Low Level Bond Girl. Eye Candy. Says nothing. Wears the latest fashions (inevitably hideously out of date when you see the movie in 10 years time). Smiles in anticipation.

2) Mid Level Bond Girl. Quick Fling. On and off screen in 5 minutes. Has a few lines. Must be able to say "James" and make it sound sexy. Smiles appreciatively.

3) Top Level Bond Girl. Gives him a hard time and refuses to play ball for at least half the movie (stop sniggering at the back). Argumentative bugger. Always looks great in a bikini. Contractually obliged to be lying in his arms when the credits roll.
