chemistry - rate of reaction problem?

no sorry it doesnt quite work like that, unfortunately. its because tempratue isnt quite linear. e.g. if you increase a solution from 0 degrees celius to 1 degrees celius you would usuaully fing that the reaction has sped up 1/273 in its rate. this is due to -273 degrees celius being absolute zero, so doubling the tempratue from say 50 to 100 degrees will not actaully double the rate
 
An increase in temperature makes a reaction go faster. Is the relationship inversely proportional though? i.e. if you double the temperature does it take half as much time for the equation to finish?
