I need to do a poster on an element for chemistry class, and I'm aiming to make it as creative as possible. I'm thinking of doing carbon, and lightly burning the edges of the poster, then rubbing burnt wood over it, and evenly scribbling on it with pencil (graphite). Would this seem too messy? Any other ideas would be great.
The poster needs to include just random facts about the element as well. I'm probably going to do a giant square with "C" and then atomic mass, atomic weight, just like on the periodic table, and then a column about it's history, etc...
