Ok so we did this experiment in class but i was at my music lesson when the teacher was explaining the science behind it. Now i have to write up what happened for my homework and i don't understand!
The experiment we did was to see how the quantity of sodium thiosulphate solution effects its reaction rate with hydrochloric acid. We did the experiment 5 times, each time with a different concentration of sodium thiosulphate. The more dilute with water the solution became the slower the reaction time was with the acid. Why? could someone please explain this in a simple way, talking about the particles..??
