1) give 3 properties of the carbon atom that explain why the number of organic compounds is greater than the number of inorganic compounds.

2) explain why the following molecule couldn't exist

( the lines above and below the letters are connected with the center lines of the C's. )

3) list the following families of hydrocarbons in order of greatest reactivity to least reactivity and explian answer.

Alkynes - Alkanes - Alkenes.
 
1) bcz of the ability of carbon to form long bonds and chains...known as catenation..

2)cause carbon is always hybridized and forms four bonds always.so it's impossible for carbon to form a compound

H----C-----C-------C-----H
as its four valencies will not be satisfied and hence the compound will be unstable

3) to big to answer
