Predict the cathode, anode, and net cell reactions and minimum potential difference for each of the following electrolytic cells.
a) C(s)/Ni2+(aq), I-(aq)/C(s)
okay so. the Cathode is Ni2+ and the anode is I-. Right?
I don't know how to do the net cell reactions and minimum potential difference.
and than
b) Pt(s)/Na+(aq), OH-(aq)/Pt(s)
Na+ = Cathode.
OH- = Anode.
right? and than i don't know the rest....
Thanks so much..
