If the addition of a crystal to an aqueous solution causes a great deal of dissolved solid to precipitate out, the original solution was
a. unsaturated
b. saturated
c. supersaturated
d. suspended
If a solvent and solute are miscible, then the following are true
a.The solvent is polar while the solute is polar
b.It is a heterogeneous mixture
c.The solvent in nonpolar and the solute nonpolar
d.The solvent is oil and the solute is water
Ok so the first question I am confident that it is not D, but other then that I am lost. On the second question I am thinking my teacher made a mistake as miscible means two liquids that dissolve completely in one another so...ANY HELP WOULD BE AWESOME GUYS!
Thanks
