In the book, they said, " compounds in wood chemically comebine with oxygen when thy burn to form water and carbon dioxide" i dont understand at all. Does wood have compounds? what is that? can you write the chemistry equation of the reaction of wood with oxygen and the product of it ( i think it water and carbon dioxide right?)>>>>>>>>.please help me thx very much
