checking the vehicles owners for log book...?

Even if its owned by someone that brough it just to sell it. their name is still on the log book isnt it?... for example...

feltham glasworks << first owners because they brought the car to sell it...
Mrs P << she brought it off them (glassworks)...
Mazda used cars << Brought it off Mrs P
Mr G M << Brought it off Mazda used cars?...

and i brought it off MR G M - so that makes me 5th owner...

Im just trying to sell my car sorting out some stuff thanks for your help guys.. xxx

So makes me 5th owner...
 
A car dealer would not normally count as an owner if they just bought the car to sell it, so in the example you give, Mazda used cars would not count as an owner and you would be the 4th owner.

This would not apply if they intended to use the car before selling it, for example as a courtesy car or for one of their staff to drive, in this case the dealer would have to register as the owner of the car.
