Check out this toyota pamphlet I just received and what it says about designer breeds?

I just received something from dog.com and this is what a pamphlet inside said. "The New Toyota Venza. Presenting the newest designer breed". And on back it says "From labradoodles to peekapoos to puggles, when the mix is intentional, it's not a mutt- it's an innovation". Im sure this is going to rile some feathers lol.
 
a mutt is a mutt is a mutt. don't get me wrong, i love my two! They were both rescues! But I an definitely against the "designer breed " thing. Why pay so much money for a mutt, when You can get one from your local shelter?

I don't see what it has to do with cars, am I missing something?

Innovations imply purpose. Mutts have no purpose, how can someone claim that crossing two dogs is predictable let alone beneficial?
