check engine light on my 2006 toyota corolla?

check engine light on my toyota corolla 06 went on at 200,000 miles.the car runs really fine has a lot of pick up .used a code scanner,the problem is P0741(torque converter CKT performance OR stuck off)does this mean the converter is going bad ?appreciate your advice on this.
 
The converter lock up solenoid may be the problem. Get a quote from the dealer. If it rides OK you may just want to drive it into the ground, with 200,000 miles on the car it's not time to start investing alot of money into it.
