Check engine light on a Toyota Celica?

I have a 2000 Celica with less than 100k. Check engine is on.Code on the computer says its the converter.I've also heard that it could be one of the oxygen sensors.I'm not up to date on a Toyota.Seems like low miles to have to replace a converter.What do you Toyota buffs think?
