Check engine light at highway speeds on 1990 honda civic si?
Check engine light comes on and off..As the question above states, i have done a complete tune up (oil, plugs, wires, pcv, fuel filtr, etc) and i dont know what is wrong. I CANNOT GO TO AUTOZONE for them to run codes because it is illegal for them to do it in California, so thats out of the question. What could be the problem? Anyone had the same problem before? Any info would be good....
I dont know if i am reading the flashes right because it never stops...my mechanic jumped it and found a code (O2 sensor) and fixed it...now cel only comes on when on highway...i bring it to mechanic, he says dont turn off the engine so he could get the code but my car wont open the doors with keys in the ignition
FYI Autozone in California (or Long Beach, CA) cannot run codes and scanners into anyone's car anymore...it is California law, and every autozone I went to said the same thing...
