Cheapest N Series Phone?

This is wrong.
1) E50 has a camera. The non-camera version (E50-2) is the least common version and you can hardly find them around.
2) "Hardly any Multimedia"? Where do you get that from.
- It plays MP3, AAC and WMA with the builit in player and you can install any other jukebox you want
- It plays video files with the built in player, or you can install Divxplayer, Smartmovie etc.
- FM radio is not exactly a bedrock application. And anyone can get a
- Gallery can easily be upgraded with 3rd party software for $10.

When you look at this the phone at $250, is a downright steal compared to $400 of for the N73.

You can make arguments that you want a medocre 3MP camera vs the medicre 1.3MP , or that you want 2.2" screen vs 2.0". BUt that is it. However you cant say this phone isnt multimedia capable. It is.

That thing was a dinosaur when it first came out!

Seriously though, I wish they would make a quadband one with a camera, slide out keyboard, and a 3.5mm headphone jack -

slideout keyboard? ummm...

well the original ngage comes with a 3.5 mm headphone adaptor in the box~ and dont forget, has a usb port as well so u can use any usb data cable

Honestly, I think this is great advice. If your not in desperate need of wifi and a realy kick butt camera then this model is pretty much perfect. I'm as happy using it on a daily basis as I was with my E61, N73, and N80ie. Obviously those three had some qualities that the E50 cant touch but overall (size and feature set) it's a kick butt phone. I received a BBpearl from work 2 days ago as they want us using BB's during our work days and it's not even half the phone the E50 is. While I'm still getting used to the Pearl (and it's actually a pretty nice phone) it's still not even close to S60.
