Chavs in the cinema

Cinemas should ban latecomers. I know people aren't late on purpose and it could happen to any of us, but it's unfair to let latecomers ruin the experience for those already there.

I don't like to tar people with the same brush as in 'chavs'......I just don't like bad mannered people in the cinema. I don't mean eating loud....food is available....I am not that anal. But fiddling around with their phones, talking through the film, why would you want to pay a fair bit of money and then talk through it? Get the dvd out!!

Sorry...I get the right a*rse if I get someone like that next to me, or someone kicking my seat. It really gets my goat.

And breeeeeeeeeeathe. :D

I shall look out for your obituary in the papers. Only takes one with a knife or worse in their pocket to end it. Best bet is to tell someone in charge. I'm not saying be scared, but you go in like a have a go hero you may be a dead hero.

I've just got back from the cinema, went with a friend and we sat in the front block of seats and for about 20 mins some chavs were throwing what i think was maltesa's which were hitting the back of our chairs.

It was dark so couldnt see who it was but i was waiting and if one hit me or i saw who was doing it i was gonna go and break his nose and walk out. That chav might like throwing sweets but i like throwing my fist.

First time i've had anything like this happen to me and put me on edge so i couldnt enjoy the film properly.

True but the older people get the more they talk to me to help explain the plot.

"Who is that?" "Who is playing Sherlock Holmes?" "Is that Jude Law?" "I don't like this bit it is scary!"

Thats what my Mother whispered to me last time we went to the cinema.

Im 17,, from ireland...

it annoys the **** out of me, , they are clearly told ' please turn off your mobiles '

Ok, so maybe no1 actually does, but RAB

I've a big problem with them, they stand up through the trailers like you said, they talk, loudly!... answer phone calls during the film and texting every second, they clearly dont want to be there,, same with couples they go to see an 'epic' and spend the hole time kissing and well you know what else... throwing popcorn and what not, shouldnt they just stay the **** home or do that s**t in a lane way or something lol,, chav teenagers will never learn!!

I always sit at the front these days, that way I don't get distracted by muppets checking their email or looking actors up on google!

I agree with this man.

There is nothing like an empty cinema all to yourself on a early monday or tuesday afternoon.

Thanks you this I havnt had many problems with scum in the cinema. Though some moron was talking on his phone in Avatar. What the hell is wrong with these peoplee if they think its ok to do that?

If I chav chucked anything at me or kicked my chair, I would turn around and smack the little ****er in the mouth.

Though If he was alot bigger than me Id just get him chucked out :D

"Isn't that 'im from Corrie?"

No, unless Joe Pesci had a cameo role pulling pints in the pub, it's not...........

I remember when it was 40p to get into the Cinema ...........

I never sit at the front. I don't like being close to the screen.

You should be able to sit where you want without distruption, anyway. Cinemas desperately need to get tough and just automatically throw out any moron who misbehaves.

Oh my god! If you decide to pay to watch Sherlock Holmes and then start whispering to whoever you're with 'who's playing Sherlock Holmes/who is Jude Law?' then WTF are you even doing there??!! I would expect you to already know this because you've seen the trailer/ad on tv and it's been explained to you what the film is about and who is in it!

I wish people would use their brains more!!!

Of course that's the best time to go.

All the chavs are at home sitting on their arses watching Mr. Kyle (can of Stella in one hand, jobseekers allowance book in the other!):D

Agreed... popcorn or sweets, yes (as long as they're not all in crinkly wrappers :p) but why do people bring hot food into the cinema? It does make me hungry though when you can smell chips from the next row :p
