I have added a true speech codec so I am able to hear sounds in chatrooms on my vista computer. Since loading I no longer have the catagories populate so I am unable to pick a chat room. How do I fix this?
Sounds like a problem with the codec installation.
You can uninstall the codec, do a system restore and install it again.
Or go for a later version of Messenger that includes it.
