Chat bar RESETS... someone gunna help this time?? pls?

ok so for the last 4 days or so I'm not sure what I pressed but now EVERYTIME anybody talks to me and im typing... the chat bar resets to the start and i start typing at the start again.(behind what i've already typed) Is it just a ctrl + something that i pressed or what? please help!
