Charmed Appreciation Group

Massive fan of charmed. I absolutely love it.

Paige is 100% my favourite. Everything about her character is amazing. I did like Prue, but then forgot about her within 2episodes of Paige.

The comics are great as well. I might have to start watching again...

im a huge charmed fan. love all the sisters but i adore rose mcgowan and paige. i dont mind the episodes with prue either though, i loved her in season 3.

have all the box sets, still watch on living and living loves and cbs drama and again on living at like 2am lol :D

Huge Charmed fan, you might say a convert in a way, as when Buffy was on, i never even gave Charmed the time of day, but now i watch Charmed alot more than i ever watched Buffy.

I've got the entire DVD collection, so luckily it means i can watch the show at my own pace too.

Piper was my fave character as she just seemed so normal throughout the entire series, and she fought tooth and nail to keep that normality.

I liked Prue as the eldest sister, but i never felt the disappointment some fans have, in regarRAB to her leaving. I suppose its due to the fact that Charmed was in its Eighth season when i started watching it, but all the same, i felt Prue's death added a whole lot to how Piper & Phoebe grew.

Also, i suppose the above reason is also why i actually liked the character of Billie. I never found the character annoying in any way, i felt that up until the whole Christy arc, she played the role quite well, i felt like she was playing a "Teen Phoebe" role, the immaturity, the not really knowing how dangerous magic can be.

When Christy came in, it was like that all went away, and what you were left with were two characterless shells, and thats down to poor writing. The idea that two sisters could be apart from each other for over a decade, and could possess the power(together) to be called the "Ultimate Power" was laughable, let alone the fact that we're supposed to believe that Billie was the key to the "Ultimate Power".

I liked the whole "The Charmed ones care more about themselves, then the innocents anymore" idea, as there was an element of truth to that, but that element of truth actually had a good reason behind it(They wanted normal lives).

I just felt that if they wanted to carry that sentiment into the show, they needed to have an enemy that could realistically just show up and be just as powerful. The Triad could've been this enemy. We know how powerful they are, and they cannot be vanquished forever. They would have made a great enemy, and it would've allowed for the writers to bring Cole back into the show for the final season.

Favorite male character would have to be Leo, just because i felt that Piper & Leo were the reason the show was so successful, and lasted for 8 seasons. I imagined that every week people would tune in, just to see if they'd stay together(or if you watched season 2, if they'd get back together).
