Since the beginning of cartoons, there has been a lot of characters who were just plain jerks. In some cases, they usually get a change of heart and get off easily. But in other cases, they are jerks throughout the cartoon and may or may not get what they deserve.
So, in which cartoons where the jerkish character gets what they deserve in the end?
Good example would be Chuck Jones' "Chow Hound," where the cat DIDN'T forget the gravy in the end.
South Park also has several, including:
"Scott Tenorman Must Die" - Cartman grinds up Scott's parents and tricks him into eating it.
"Christian Rock Hard" - Token beats Cartman to the ground. Even Stan says that "he got what he deserved."
"AWESOM-O" - Butters shows an humiliating video of Cartman to the whole town.
Ginger Nutt's Christmas Circus: After humiliating the weasel the entire short, the parrot gets beaten to a pulp, even after having a change of heart.
Hiss and Make up: The canary frames both the cat and dog and gets the two kicked out into the snow. However, we see the cat smiling, despite being out in the cold. The dog asks "How can you sit there and smile when we're out here in the cold, and that double-crossing canary's in there!". However, the cat opens its jaws, and we see that he took the bird with him.
Cagey Canary: The cat gets kicked out of the house after being spotted attacking the bird cage. But, just when the canary is just about to enjoy his victory, he gets kicked out as well, giving the cat a chance for revenge at the now vulnerable bird.

Same here, and I feel the same way about Cartman in South Park. And he usually gets his in such hilarious ways, and his reactions to his comeuppance make it that much sweeter. He's a bit like Daffy Duck in that respect.
Don't forget Cosmo getting his in "Timmy the Barbarian". It proved how much funnier he is taking abuse than in dishing it out (especially given his assitude in the past). If one could somehow excise the distasteful "nag" crap via Wanda, "Barbarian" could qualify as one of the geniunely funnier episodes of FOP. But no, certain writers had to foul it up with their usual damaged sensibilities...
I know alot of jerk characters that got what they deserved:
Brittany(The Chipmunks) - She got what she deserved in the episode when she pretended to be a zombie by tricking poor Alvin. Ren Hoek(Ren & Stimpy) - He pretty much got his just desserts in these two episodes when the babies beat him up & got run over by Stimpy,canary,old miner when he locked Stimpy in the cheese mine, but he's still the best hilarious jerk and my favorite. Jerry(Tom & Jerry) - That little monster finally gets his bashings on a few episodes that Tom won like Million Dollar Cat,Year of the Mouse,Vanishing Duck & that episode with Tom's twin cousin where the two cats scared the daylights of that rat Jerry which I rooted for Tom to win. Princess(Powerpuff Girls) - She got what she deserved by being in Santa's naughty list for being an evil,spoiled rotten brat. Cartman(South Park) - He got what he deserved in the AWESOM-O/Christian Rock/Kyle's birthday episodes, but he is funny for being the biggest jerk. Master Shake(ATHF) - He totally got alot of bashings at the end, but he's still funny. Danger Duck(Loonatics:Unleashed) - He totally got what he deserved in the Tweety episode,the Melvin the Martian episode, & Pinkster episode when Zadavia told him "put a sock in it," since he's an annoying pain-in-the-butt sometimes & that I love Daffy Duck more since he's more funnier than Danger. Peter Griffin(Family Guy) - He gets his bashings like in the restaurant episode & the episode when he bees a bully after beating up Chris's bully since he was a major jerk in those episodes, but hilarious as well. Stewie Griffin(Family Guy) - He gets what he deserved in hilarious ways like when Brian sends him to the bus running him over & makes him have that tobacco when Brian remembers when Stewie beated him up in the Patriot Games episode. Bloo(FHFIFs) - He got what he deserved in a couple episodes like the cookies episode/new squeaky toy episode since he was a megajerk in them. Mandy(B&M) - She totally deserved the bashings like in that strange mask episode,the 1st movie,& the B&M/KND crossover since she goes too far by being a humongous jerkoff on poor Grim & even her parents. the prison cell guard(Avatar: The Last AirBender) - He deserved it for being a jerk on Uncle Iroh before when buffed-up Iroh broke out and gave him a bashing. Freeza(Dragonball Z) - He deserved to be killed by Goku/Trunks for killing poor Dende & Krillin as much as I despise him. 2 bankrobbers(Dbz: Buu Saga) - Those heartless monsters deserved to die for killing Buu's puppy,Hercule & destroying his house. Grisor & Dr.Hakase(Zatch Bell!) - I'm glad they're defeated which they deserved it for using/hurting poor Shion. Zofis(Zatch Bell!) - He'll be getting what he deserved by Kiyo,Zatch,& Sherry for brainwashing the minds of innocent people for the ancient mamodoes & Sherry's best friend Koko. Kyoji Mujo(S-cry-ed) - He really deserved to die for having to bash on Straight Cougar who's the coolest character in the show. Neji(Naruto) - He really deserved it when Naruto uppercutted him for beating up on a poor shy girl like Hinata & insulting poor Rock Lee. Dewey(Eureka 7) - He deserved to die for releasing those monsters to endanger the lives of many innocent people. Arlong(One Piece) - He deserved to crushed by Luffy for killing Nami's mother & capturing poor Nami when Nami left the Strawhats after the Don Krieg saga. Trapper(Yu-Gi-Oh! GX) - He got his just desserts for capturing Jesse's jewel monsters & ripping up a cute Jellybean card which he's a sick twisted monster.
Spandam(one Piece) - He totally deserved it when Robin finally kills him at the end for abusing her alot.
Diva(Blood+) - She'll totally get her just desserts from what she did to poor Riku & copied his appearance along with that.
Huh? How the heck is Daffy any different from Danger? *confused*
Y'know, on that note, so did Kuro, Arlong, and Crocodile for the cruelties they committed.
One Piece really does have despicable baddies, eh? :sweat:
I don't really mind him beating up on Hinata, since that is the point of a ninja battle after all, but it's the self-righteous junk he said to her that really made me want him to get his. The guy just needed to shut the heck up.
Think Cartman will end it all after what he went through for South Park's ultimate finale? Bet Kyle and the rest get madeals and ticker tape parades for ending Cartman's life; his mom, Erica Cartman wouldn't mind. Oh, and how come in later stories, people still don't make fun of Eric after the Awsomeo story long after wards? Did Butters get a medal?
I really like what happened to Magica DeSpell at the end of Send in the Clones. Having this whole, big scheme to get the number one dime, and actually getting it. And then falling for Scrooge's trickery, and giving her the fake dime... having it explode in her face at the end.
I liked them, they were my favs of the extra. The episodes that killed them are my least favs. Not just because they died, because the acaul epsidoes were pretty bad, killing those guys made it worse.
Continuing on family guy, they continue to ad bits of Stewie being punished for beating up Brain so horribly in that one ep ("where's my money!?"*Smack*). Though Brain appears to have recovered pretty well from the insident, normal people would be handy capped for life if having thier knees shot out and all, they continue to give Brain some revenge time for that. I still don't think Stewie's got what he deserves just yet but it's getting there.
