Characters that ruin the show

Here's a couple to start off my list.

-Scrappy Doo (doesn't need an explanation).
-She Hulk (ruined The Incredible Hulk in the 90's)
-Max Gibson from Batman Beyond (took up everybody's screen time because of stupid network suits)
*coincidentally both of the above 2 are voiced by Cree Summers who I find does cringeworthy voices for teenagers.
-Supergirl (minus Legacy and The Cadmus arc, I didn't really care much for her appearances)
-Videoman (from Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends)
-Batgirl from The Batman "Season 3"
-Jubilee (from X-Men TAS) most of her screen time was damn irritating to watch.

Orco (He-Man)
Snarf (Thundercats)
Trixie, Spritle and Chim-Chim (Speed Racer)
Nanny, Talking Mice (Voltron)

Mostly for just being annoying distractions/fillers. Trixie for serving little purpose other than to cockblock the hero.

Dr. Drakken - A one-dimensional villain who constantly calls himself evil. Unrealistic. That and there's never going to be an explanation for his blue skin.

ROLL From MM:For a house bot she sure don`t like to stay at home. If your gonna go along and help your bro then arm yourself. Do you really think you can scare bad bots away what a vacune hand? Better yet just stay at home.

pam from GT:The most annoying and useless char in DB ever.

Roshi from DBZ:In DB his perveness was funny. In Z it was just annoying and out of place most of the times. Plus most of the women were married.

Waspberntor from BW:It clear he was the humor of the show but as the show went on he became less funny and more annoying.

I really can't stand Billy in the last episodes. He now just seems to randomly talk a lot, no fun stuff. The same problem with Cheese , although I really liked the first epiosde(because of Bloo). Strangely, I am really not annoyed with Fredburger.

Elmyra from PatB 'nuff said

Big Fat Baby from Histeria. That show has a LOT of potential but honestly, I believe big fat baby was part of the reason why the show wasn't as successful.

Hip Hippos from Animaniacs. Not funny at all.

Pan from DBZ. She really could have been a cool character but eh...she was just in the way most of the time >_<

Timon and Pumbaa from...Timon and Pumbaa. That show would have completly ruined the characters for me if I had taken it seriously. It had its moments but over all eh....

That's all I have for now

-the Smuflings, Grand-pa Smurf, Grandma Smurf and Savage Smurf in the Smurfs, their additions was the moment the Smurfs ran out of steam and jumped the shark.

Real world bigots actually believe that people of other races are either dangerous or inferior. The Quarrymen didn't see the gargoyles as either of those.

Lisa Simpsons from the Simpsons. She is the most annoying and self absorbed character in animation. I hate how she h as become a now it all and acts holier than thou to the rest of the characters on the show.

And the worst part of it is, she never used to be that way. More proof that the writers have forgotten what made the show great - full-fledged characterization, not just one or two cliches lumped together.

I may not have seen much of 'Kim Possible', but i often wonder how Drakken got blue skin. My first guess was that it must've been a science experiment gone bad.

My parents have started watching repeats on our local FOX network. They're mostly from 2000 - Today, and I sit there during dinner and think to myself constantly "I remember when this show was funny." The plot device of utterly irrelevant event inspiring the main action in act one makes me want to act like Homer did when he found out about Marge's pregnancies.

...well, maybe not THAT bad...

Larry from Time Squad. Yes, he did have his funny moments, but he was such an obnoxious little priss it made me want to vomit. And to be quite blunt, I think the only reason so many people in Time Squad's fan base like him is because he's played by Mark "Luke Skywalker" Hamill. Since I don't like Star Wars, I don't give a crap about that.

Misty from Pokemon. Another obnoxious priss for whom I could never understand the large fanbase. She was so whiny and annoying, I wanted to tear my ears out whenever she spoke. I would have liked Pokemon a little better if not for her. Also, I hate what the writers have done to Team Rocke; look at how they were portrayed earlier episodes of Pokemon, and look at current ones. You may notice that in earlier episode, they were bad guys, but they were also treated as human beings. Now they're so predictable it's sickening.

I agree with whoever said Cheese ruined Foster's. The show was pretty good until he showed up; he's just really obnoxious and pointless.

And as a general rule, I think the "breakout character" of many shows ruins things (Cartman of South Park, Stewie from Family Guy, and to an extent, Helga from Hey Arnold). The reason is that due to their popularity among fans, the writers begin developing them to a point that they're obnoxiously "in-your-face", and other characters who could be important to the show are shoved aside and undeveloped.

Psycho from Toxic Crusaders
He's actually not a bad character, but in the start of every episode, he more or less gives away the basic plot of the episode.

Lena (Yin Yang Yo!)-not only do I not like the way she treats Yang, but I just generally don't like the effect she has on Yang. Yang gushing over a girl seems completely out-of-character for him, IMHO. It won't happen, but I'd like it if in the 2nd season, the writers were to send Lena off to a boarding school in another country or something.
