Characters that ruin the show

You know that one character that makes the show unwatchable because they don't fit in or are just too serious. Well how many of them are there.

I can think of a few.

Lilo from Lilo and Stich.
Chris from Sonic X
Tiff from Kirby
 
Lisa was a good character through the first six seasons. She maybe the smartest and self absorbed character, but her family still loved her. Back then she also cared for her family, see "Homer vs. Lisa and the Eighth Commandment."
 
Listen to this fellow, he's right on the money. Lisa has always been the brainy/artistic/progressive member of the family, but it wasn't the entirety of her personality. Earlier episodes have her playing with other girls or watching Itchy and Scratchy (side note: whatever happened to them?), making it abundantly clear that she was still a young girl even if she was mature for her age. Removing that dichotomy ripped a lot of depth out of her character.

Ok....take Lilo.

She's very annoying, too stupid for her own good, and contributes almost nothing. Stitch does the most of the work and he's cool. If they changed Lilo's character to something better perhaps....or removed her completely. Unfortunally we can't do the latter.

Or Penny...or whatever her name is in the kids from room 402. Everytime she's on I hope she gets hit by a bus.
 
The thing I don't like about Lilo in the L&S series is that... when she throws an orange and causes Gantu to trip, she stops being a little girl and starts being an action hero. What was appealing about Lilo was not her ability to reform people, heck, that was never her skill. It was her infallible GOODNESS that made other people (namely Stitch) want to be well-behaved, even though Lilo herself is not. She's a perfectly normal girl otherwise, though... and just because she can't beat up big alien bounty hunters doesn't make her any less strong, it just makes her all the more human.

I'm sure quite a few 11 year old boys kept praying for this one to air again. Youtube actually has it back, but removed it a few months ago.

Peggy Hill (King Of The Hill)
Marvin & Wendy, The Wonder Twins (Superfriends)
Yoshi (Super Mario World)
Bubba Duck (DuckTales)
 
Rick Wheeler from 'F-Zero: GP Legend/Falcon Densetsu'. One of the classic examples of both a franchise killer (though that might be unfair to place the blame on him), a Mary Sue-esque and a show ruiner.

It didn't help that he was indeed the main character, but the overdone hotheaded shtick -not to mention the whole series was pretty much "F-Zero meets Demolition Man sans comedy"- was and is so played out. Frank 'Raphael' Frankson *kinda* made him tolerable in the short-lived dub of the series, but it doesn't save Rick completely from being one of -if not the- most loathed Nintendo characters ever.

Oogtar and Yoshi from 'Super Mario World' - Even when I was a little kid, these two absolutely grated my nerves every time I watched the show. it took all of what very little willpower I had in me to slog through all 13 episodes due to Oogtar's irritating behavior and Yoshi's 'nails on chalkboard'-esque voice and demeanor. If there's ever another Mario cartoon, I hope to God they make Yoshi silent.
 
I agree, that song the nephews sang as a tribute to Bubba was god-awful. Also, I can't picture Scrooge letting a wild caveduck live in his house (helping Bubba out, sure, but letting him move in?)
 
For me its;

1. Peggy Hill-King of the Hill {My God she's annoying}
2. Trixie-American Dragon {She's mean, has an annoying voice}
3. Kimmi-Rugrats {Ruined that show for me}
3. Jade-Jackie Chan's Adventures {Yah I hated her, miss hoge it all girl, she irrated the hell out of me}
 
Bubba Duck is someone I think about has a character that ruined a show, as oppose to Lilo. The show is called Lilo and Stich. She was there from the beginning, so the show was never runied to begin with, if you don't like Lilo, than you never liked the show to begin with, thus how can a bad show be ruined.

Characters that ruin shows that come to mind are not original characters but added later on. Like Bubba Duck or Scrappy Doo, the animated Cousin Olivers of the world.
 
1. Trixie from American Dragon. I just can't stand her - especially her voice.

2. Kimmy from Rugrats. A "Mary Sue" all the way.

3. "New School" Cosmo from FOP.

4. All of the lame superhero parodies from FOP, especially Catman.

5. All of the characters in The Replacements and Yin Yang Yo. That's right, all of 'em. Also Camp Lazlo.

6. That toucan in My Gym Partner's A Monkey. She's a pain in the ass.

That's all I can think of right now.
 
The irritating caveboy/kid sidekick to the Mario Bros. in the 'Super Mario World' cartoon.

I take it you've probably never seen the series, since Oogtar is one of those unforgettable characters... albeit unfortunately unforgettable, as he is THAT annoying IMHO.
