Characters that don't translate well to 3d

The World of Springfield action figure line had some incredible sculpts, butsome characters just don't work in 3D namely the bullies Dolph and Kearney.

Seconded. They look great in 3-D (pretty much with the new designs) but I just can't play any game they've made in the last 10 years. Gimme Green Hill Zone anyday.

I've always hated the Justice Leage opening animation. The Timm designs just don't work well in 3D.

AMEN. I never really cared for the music in that opening either. I never really dug Lolita Ritmanis's composistion style.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the G-1 Transformers, who looked okay in 2-D but terrible in the Beast Wars flashbacks and other subsequent 3-D outings.

Jim Davis must be rolling around in his grave after seeing what Garfield has become, provided that he's dead of course, but fortunately he's not.

Personally, this is what I wish those 2 theatrical movies could have been. Don't make it half animation, half live action. As the Star Wars prequals have taught us anything, it doesn't really mesh too well. I'd rather an ALL CGI version than a partial CGI version.

The Rugrats characters look pretty bad in 3D.
If you played the Playstation games they used to have, then you'd know what I'm talking about
