I think, Kat from 10 things I hate about you.
Cuz, she's: emotional, but cold on the outside, weird but at the same time cool, has witty and sarcastic humor etc.

I can relate to Amelie: the shyness, the introversion, the calling to a more fully realized existence. I was like her, and still am, to a lesser degree. The movie is so charming, and when I watch it, I find hope. It also reminds me to engage in the world around me and find pleasures in small things.

Up until a few years ago, I felt like Edna Turnblad from Hairspray. Now, I feel like Tracy, the daughter. I'm so in love with that movie!!!! That is soooo me! I've always wanted to be in theater, but never had the guts because of my weight.

past life......any of the characters in 'requiem for a dream'

present life..........any character, in any film, that's experienced a complete turn around in lifestyle, personality and attitude.....

wow good topic I must say
for me I can be like Elizabeth Swann from Pirates of the Carribbean, I'm a bit emotional and moody and I act like a child (eventhough I'm an adult) to get what I want
also theres a little bit of Sally Owens in me (from Practical Magic) I'm not really a witch but I'm sort of a goody two shoes and I look down upon the actions of my Sisters

Great topic...just have to think about it. I know i've related to a moive on so many levels.

But i can't remeber what it was!!. ...I must be Dori then. ;)

I just watched SubUrbi@ and well, it hit me real hard. Everything Giovanni Ribisi's character, Jeff, were like words pulled out of my mouth. Ech.

Oh, and another funny thing happened while I was watching American Splendor on video. I had just woken up and I was fixing myself some breakfast (pork & beans from a can & orange soda), when a character from the movie starts telling Paul Giamatti something about his being so angry and blah blah blah having to drink orange soda for breakfast. I was :goof:

That's a really good question. I know I've felt that way before but it will take me a little time to think of some specific characters/movies. I'll be back later. :)

^ Peter Pan is a good one. I suppose I can relate to Wendy. I didn't really want to grow up, but I did. And if I could have, I'd have stayed in my own little Neverland forever. :)

It's hard to think of anyone from movies. I'll see if I can think of another character....

i aint seen the actual Lio & Stitch film but i've seen a few clips of the tv series & i think they're just so cute

btw i love this topic!
i never saw Peter Pan in full but related completely with the never wanting to grow up - then again so can most ppl
can't think off the top of my head which movie or character reminds me of myself but it'll come to eventually

I don't know why, but a lot of people kept calling me the first time they saw Lilo & Stitch. I'm so Lilo, they said.

IMO, though, it'd be Enid Coleslaw. ...so maybe there is something there in what the others say.

i think ariel from the little mermaid haah dont laugh
i remeber growing up feeling i dont belong in a certain place
also peter pan, but i think everyone has a little bit of peter pan somewhere in them

Awesome topic!

I would say that the Breakfast Club sorta reminded me of my life only because I can be a drama queen and have problems just like the characters had in the movie. Also at a point of time I felt like Kathleen Kelly from You Got Mail with the whole online relationship and not knowing who that person really was.

Every once in a while you watch a movie, and it seems like that movie was just made for you, or it's like the story of your life :)

Or it could just be that there's a specific character that you can relate to on every level.

Do you have any? :D
