I am thinking of getting Chaperone because of a very problem teenager. I've exhausted other ideas and have to resort to spying. I looked into it and it said that there was no charge for the parent and child versions but when I went to sign on there was a $10 a month fee. I don't make a lot of money and that is a considerable expense but if I have to I have to. Is this true?
I will be able to download the child version on the teenagers phone and it says that I can enable the phone to always accept an inquiry as to where the child phone is but says that a text message will be sent to the child phone saying that it was accessed every time I look for her whereabouts. Is that true and is there anyway to disable that? If not then I fear that the effectiveness will be greatly diminished.
I don't like spying but recent events have told me that if I don't so she could wind up in very deep trouble, I have to balance her desire for privacy with my desire to look after her welfare.
