Chaotiic New Animation Style.!!!

Again, I do hate the entire CCG-based media franchise and I don't think I was defending the idea of a theatrical movie for Chaotic. I was just implying they might make a feature film based upon the CCG just for the sake of milking the entire media franchise for all its worth.

Hmm, doesn't seem like the blog updated this week, but here's a look at Kaz's new design.

Sheesh, we've gotten more talkback about the show in this thread than we have in all the episode talkbacks combined, and we haven't even been on topic the majority of the time. :p

I think that it is a better design, but I keep on thinking that his hair is now the size of his head. That or he has a lot of hair gel.

I've actually enjoyed playing some of the Yu-Gi-Oh! games. I don't really play the card game with friends or in events, I don't think that I have enough Yu-Gi-Oh! cards to build a standard size deck, but I'm more into buying the cards in video games instead. It probably helps if you either enjoy playing the card game already or if you enjoy watching the show. For me, having a friend who is very much into playing the actual Yu-Gi-Oh! game helps.

I've actually enjoyed playing the non-World Championship Games. Of course, I just got the 2007 version yesterday and I haven't had that much experience with it compared to Nightmare Troubadour and Spirit Caller. Anyway, I do agree with you on how if they make a Chaotic video game, they'll have to make it like the show since its fans really won't want to buy a game when they could just play for free online instead.

That's true. Since the card game is the basic foundation for the games, it would be hard to like the games if you don't like the card game. I've also found myself playing my Yu-Gi-Oh! video games for hours. It actually surprised me that I played for over a hundred hours, or close to it, in Spirit Caller, by the end of my spring break. Those were a couple of fun weeks.

The annoying part is they got some very nice plot hooks laying around, just waiting to be picked up.

I mean just the question of Chaotic's origin would be enough to drive a full season >.>

Then there's the whole Prexor illness that needs some conclusion...

And let's not even start on the plot thread garden that is Perrim.

^Well, I'm sure people will still find some reason to complain about Chaotic (I myself still have difficulty distinguishing between the various monsters, attacks and fighting classes), but at least they'll no longer be able to complain about the animation.

The card game is selling well. According to a 4Kids rep, it's the number two selling TCG after Pok?mon.

As for a continuing plot line, the first season ended in a cliffhanger, so that may be that start of a new ongoing plot next season.

So, uh, I guess nobody found the clip yet?
