About Channel4 News last night. The undercover reporter in Burma made the point that it wasn't safe for him to be reporting and filming as he hid in a car. So it seemed odd when various inhabitants were filmed - talking to camera - faces clearly visible and sufficient background scenery to identify the village/town. If it's not safe for the repoter - it's not safe for the people !
I know the rulers probably have more on their minds to contend with right now - but thats not the point.
Recent undercover filming in Zimbabwe disguised the local people's faces and seemd to be filmed against a plain background.
What's your view. Was this irresponsible reporting?
