Changling with Angelinie Jolie

Has anyone seen this wonderful film? I watched it last nite having bought it for a couple of quid from the local market. Directed by Clint Eastwood, its a gem of a film.

Give it a try if you havent seen it.
 
Yes, its a superb film.

And I was surprised to see as well that the writer was J M Straczynski who I knew as the writer of the science fiction series Babylon 5. He's got an impressive CV.
 
It's a great film (though distressing - it will stay with you) and made me change my opinion of Angelina, who I hadn't felt so hype-worthy until then.
 
I was surprised by this the trailer was SO off putting with Angelina howling that one line over and over, did not want to see it at all, though I love Eastwood and he makes great films, Eventually watched it and thought it was a sad but great story done well, Malkovich was geat as always, and Jolie was quite good too.
 
I was really surprised to enjoy this. I didn't know Angelina was in it and don't really like her very much but forgot it as her after a few minutes.

It's almost entirely factually based too. I recall an interview with the writer who said he'd never seen such a bizarre story before.

She never did find out what happened to her son. To be honest, I think it's obvious.
 
I love this film. When i first saw the tralier i thought it was a scfi type film and the son was abducted by aliens and 'changed' - how wrong was I!!
 
wow i thought the EXACT same thing when i saw the trailer, caught it on sky a few months back and was sort of waiting for the aliens to appear then realised i was watching a fantastic film that was nothing like what i thought it was going to be.

superb, even my good lady liked it and she hates angelina jolie
 
Brilliant film! Angelina was fantastic - wasn't it filmed around the time that her Mum died so her raw emotional state was reflected in her performance?

I love Clint's films though - Gran Torino is just phenomenal.
 
Watched it once but couldn't enjoy it as I was sat watching with a friend who commented all the way through how awful Angelina looked. "Too thin looking, ew look at those massive ugly lips" etc

I may have to try watching again, alone this time.
 
Watch it, watch it, watch it!

I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed the film (Obviously the plot was disturbing) but it was so well acted and directed.
