Changing the outter display on the Razr

I have read on other posts that you can change what the outter display on the razr v3c when the phone is open so that it doesn't say your service provider's name but it only tells you how to do it with the Verizon version. I was wondering if you are able to do it with the Cricket razr. Could anyone tell me how to do it or if it can even be done? i have the neccessary programs i just can't find out how to do it. Thanks in advance!

i tried everything that it says for doing it with the verizon v3c but it still says cricket when the phone is open on the outter display. i also couldn't find the other .gif that i was supposed to replace like it says for the verizon one. could that be the problem?

thanks for the information link! but i tried looking in every folder on my razr in the BitPim program. I've read that the outter display graphic with the operators name on it is usually named cl.gif in the phone but i can't find where it is on mine or what folder it's in. i tried looking in the shared folder and then Pictures but still cant find it.

the word cricket is not a picture its text in a seem, you can change the text, or make it a picture
