Changing speakers from 4 to 2 ohms?

My radio says to use 4 -8 ohm speakers. But i want to use 2 ohm speakers so it will be louder. Will this hurt anything?
 
yes. your radio uses a built in amp to play your speakers putting a 2 ohm load on something it wasn't built for will blow it. so if you are not planning on buying an amp to power your speakers anytime soon. just buy speakers that are 4 ohms with the highest sensitivity(usually looks like 95db in the specs). This way when you turn the volume up, it gets louder faster.
