Changing camera sound?

i was anyway to change the camera sound on the Nokia E70-2? Either change it or silence it. Is this even possible? Thanks.

changing it no, unless somebody develops as application to do that, also Nokia made sure that the shutter sound stays on without the possibility of turning it off so you dont go around taking hideous pictures of people without them knowing.... which is teh ghey but oh well...

damn.. cuz before on my Samsung E715 and my friend's Motorola V600 it was possible to change the camera sound into something odd like a rooster noise.

and also on the Siemens SX1 OS6.1 i believe, the camera noise would be silent if the phone was on silent

i hear you, it was like that on old Series60 even 3650 and 6600 but that changed.... sorry bro.

It depends on the country you get your phone from. I can choose from 4 different camera shutter sounds on my N80, or silence it completely.

EDIT - on my N80, the camera does not make a sound when keypad tones are set to off (and they are so irritating I'd never have them on anyway)!

It can be done on a Motorola RAZor. You can probably silence your shutter sound the same way. Record a silent sound file in the same format, length and Properties as the shutter sound on your phone. Then Overwrite the shutter sound using bitPim or other fully functional phone browser. Good luck.
