Changes to Bell Magazine

I do not subscribe to the mag and I don't think many have . Its just like what Rogers tried to do many years ago, put the onus on the sub to stop the new service, hence "negative option marketing". I don't know who gave you a private message, but it was not me. You can have them stopped if you wish by contacting this forum. It seems that company participation in this forum is at a all time high.
The more you come on and tell people how you will charge them for the mag even if they did not order it rubs some the wrong way.
 
Cancelling:

- Saves trees
- Sends the message to Bell that x% don't want it - or prefer something different
- Reduces Bell's cost, administration, etc - which in theory should work out better for the end consumer
- Saves the back of the mail (wo)man who has to deliver it
- One less thing I have to move form my mail box straight to my recycle box
 
When the magazine is added for a client the client is always aware of it...

When add programming, let's say to a new account we tell the client if he has more than 5 themes that we will add the magazine, which will be charged 2$, then further be credited, therefore free

Client always have to agree for any programming (including magazines, even if it's free) to an account. The only time that a magazine will be added automatically is when a client adds Pop Corn, the Primeur magazine is added automatically

What I was trying to explain in my last comment is if a client with 5 themes or more calls in and wants to remove 4 themes packs and only says I want to remove 4 of my themes packs the credit he used to receive for his magazine will then be removed sinc the mgazine is only free for clients with 5 themes or more. If the client wants to discontinue the magazine at the same time, he should mentions that he want o remove the 4 themes AND the magazine
 
Dosborne even if you don't suscribe you might still receive copies of the magazine...

It was never on my account, the account is not under my name so I can not say I receive it because I was working at Express Vu, but I receive it almost every month...

In that case, to leave it or not as part of your subscription won't make a difference, except for the rep who would take the call if you are cancelling it
 
If Bell is providing your name to a third party without your consent, then I believe that is against the Privacy law.......
 
I don't know if it is or not, but I'm sure I receive the magazine almost every month, and it is not part of my monthly suscription.
