Changes to Bell Magazine

I liked the old setup. If you want the magazine, pay $2/mo for it. Just don't make everyone take it and pretend it's free. I paid $1/mo for the TMN entertainment magazine and thought it was a good deal, maybe even if it cost a little more. Unfortunately, EV arbitrarily took away that option and forced me to take a magazine I find to be totally useless propaganda.

Bell magazine is now Show magazine and is not worth the paper it is printed on. I called up about it and the csr said it was free for me but I told him to cancel it anyway. I did not mind paying for Vue magazine and I am sure I am not alone in this! Why did they ever stop publishing a decent guide?

In the case that a client has less than 5 theme packs he does have to pay for it...when we add the code for the magazine it automatically generates that 2$ charge. Billing has to add another code for the credit to appear

I don't care what changes EV makes to Bell Magazine. I don't want it. I want to opt out and receive a credit for cost of production and delivery. (About $2/mo if my calculations are correct.) I told EV I don't want heir magazine, under any terms or in any form. That is my right. EV insists on mailing it despite my request. Is that arrogant or what???

It's not free. EV has to pay for production and postage. That cost is passed on to customers. That's expensive and for what? To provide jobs for a few EV employees and propaganda for EV? Magazines are a dying, cost inefficient, ecologically unfriendly, ineffective media. If any company knows this it should be EV. (TV magazines anyone?) The money would be better spent on Canadian programming. This is yet another example of waste created by a government protected industry.

i also received extra. the french magazine saying that rds hd is coming also. i'd prefer to received it in english.

Just call and nake the request...it's a simple matter of changing the magazine code in the system.

I haven't received my EXTRA magazine yet...

Nobody forces you to suscribe to the magaszine Haystack...you can cancell it if you don't want it!

You can also e-mail the magazine and make your comments...it seems that they are interested to know what clients are thinking! I had somebody sending me private message to stop making negative comments about th new mag, that they want to know what client thinks and so on...probaly a guy working with the magazine!

I would really like to question the editiors of the magazine to know who the intended target audience of this magazine is. To me, I can see it being used more as a promotional magazine to NONsubscribers and stick it in everyone's mailbox. To subscribers, there isn't a lot there for us, other than as some posters already mentioned, lighting fires.

It is free for the client that has 5 theme packs or more...as I mentioned earlier there would be an automatically generated charge an further a credit of
2$. Clients with less than 5 theme packs do pay for the magazine

Of course if you cancel the magazine the 2$ credit will no longer be applied...

Called and asked to cancel magazine. Waste of paper. I'd rather see Bell saving their money and reducing our bills. Don't pretend like this is an added $2 bonus we're receiving for free each month. If so, give me my money back!

Call and cancel!!!

Really do not care for this version or previous versions. Still liked the original with listings for the movie channels. Still think it should continue to be free if you subscribe to the Movie Network. The Bell magazine was included with my package when I changed over a year or so ago from The Works to the current packages.

If you have more than 5 themes you pay the 2$ and further on your bill you see a 2$ credit...to you as a client it is free.

If you call to remove it from account it would as a "downgrade" for the agent, affecting her RPC (revenu per call) and possibly her bonus...why not leave it there and use it for fire as previously suggested?
