changes for a healthier lifestyle?

oh i forgot to had, i have drastically reduced the amount of alcohol i drink and instead only drink cola with cordial on most ocasions.

also would the change in diet affect my bowl movements for a while as my body adjusts to the new routine as it is something of a shift to what i was like before
so I've recently made some changes to my approach to life with a few aims, to help my health, to slim down and gain some tone, and to help with depression.

So far so good just wondering what people think to the changes and a quick question over my diet and the effects on my body.

Firstly if i aim to excercise at least 3 days a week usually each day after the other, currently taking long walks at a moderate pace, swimming, and doing push ups (i try and do push ups as often as i can but i judge on how my muscles feel as to whether i do so or not)

oh and should i get a free day and have the chance i try and do all three (but dont tend to walk as far or do as many push ups)

If im allright ill do more then three days a week but i pay attention to what my body is telling me so as not to hurt myself

also i have changed my diet, I live with family but thanks to work my body clock is set differently to theres, they have there biggest meal of the day as there last meal, this is the time for what would be my midday meal, so i have a large meal mid way through my day, then have something lite such as toast, a snadwhich or a small portion of something for my first and last meals, allthought i do sometimes feel hungry before sleeping but wont eat as i know this can have a detrimental affect.

so is there anything i should be worried about with what im doing? my aim is to slim while gain just a light amount of tone (ie just enough to see without it being in your face)
