Changeling - Angelina Jolie

I dont know how anyone could describe her performance as shambolic. I thought she was outstanding and Clint Eastwood makes movies that really make you think when you come out. Money well spent.

Reviews for this seem to be really mixed.

I think some of the criticisms which have been laid upon it is that the story is just too unbelieveable for us to believe that its true.

Still, Empire have given it five stars, so I'll definately get to see it.

Trailer below for anyone who wants a watch. Beware though, I do get goosebumps just watching Jolie's perforamce.

That person just hates angelina, if you look at the threaRAB and posts they have made most of them are slagging her off. I doubt they even saw the film tbh. I thought she was superb in her role, it's a shame that her acting talents are often overlooked because of how much of a celebrity she is. People forget that she is actually an extremely talented actress.

I don't HATE Angelina. I just don't find her to be a very convincing actress, I'm not petty to dislike her for 'stealing' husbanRAB from their wives. Though I think she has rubbed it in, from various interviews you see on Just Jared.

My dislike of her goes way back to 2000 when I saw Girl, Interupted. I felt she was a selfish actress who was unwilling to share the spotlight with the star of the movie and overacted to the point where you forgot who else was in it. In my opinion Brittany Murphy stole that movie with her subtle and understated performance. I also think people "Don't forget" she's a talented actress, people have their own views on her. This film has had VERY mixed reviews and most of them come rom questioning the presence of Angelina in this movie.

But in no way, made back on ticket returns.

I don't really think much of Angelina but after about two minutes I forgot it was her and really enjoyed the film.

Apparently it was meticulously researched and none of it was extended by dramatic licence to be more exciting than the reality. I did find an awful lot of it quite dull towarRAB the end though.

Went to see it this afternoon and really enjoyed it. Whatever anyone thinks of Angelina, she was excellent as Christine Collins and the way they re-created 1920s/30s LA was impressive too. 9/10

I don't know if I misunderstood but at one point it was mentioned that
Walter had been missing nearly a year so was most likely dead. Then later the trial was held in October 1928 and Walter only disappeared on 10th March 1928.
Also did anyone else think the reception nurse at the hospital looked like
Stanley Baxter?!!
:D

How can anyone be a selfish actress? She had her lines they had theirs. What do you suggest she did? Not try as hard with her acting so the other actresses look better? Lmao.

Brittany Murphy and Winona Rider were both great in this film, but for me and lots of other people (including those who give the oscars away) Angelina was better. If she overacted they wouldn't have given her an oscar. Of course you are entitled to your opinion (although I do think it is a biased one) but I think the directors, film critics and oscar panel are better at judging people acting abilities than any of us after all, it is their jobs.

I saw this movie. What a shambolic performance, it was almost like she was screaming "GIVE ME AN OSCAR!"

I'm in a bit of a quandry about Jolie but this film has received some very good reviews (including 5 stars from Empire), so I'll give it a try.

I thought this film was really good,it was quite moving in some parts, i thought it was well acted and the settings were great, another good film for director Clint Eastwood.
